Funktioniert Visual Studio 2010 Prof. SP1 zusammen mit SQL Server 2012 Express ?

Sehr geehrte Foristen,

auf meinem Laptop ist installiert:

- Windows 7 Professional SP1

-  Visual Studio 2010 SP1

Mein Problem ist folgendes:

Ich wollte den SQL Server 2008 Express auf SQL Server 2012 SP 1 Express hochziehen.

(Der Hintergrund ist folgender: Es ließ sich kein SQL Server Management Studio installieren für SQL Server 2008. Liegt wohl daran, dass das zusammen mit einem älteren Visual Studio  drauf gekommen ist.)

Dazu habe ich den SQL Server 2008 Express komplett deinstalliert und anschließend den SQL Server 2012 SP 1 Express installiert.

So weit so gut! Der SQL Server läuft und das Management Studio auch. Nur VS 2010 macht jetzt Probleme beim Starten. Ein Auszug aus dem ActivityLog ist am Ende.

Was kann man da jetzt machen?

Funktioniert diese Konfiguration VS 20120+ SQL Server 2012 gar nicht?

Kann man etwas Nachinstallieren?

Würde ein Kauf von VS2013 Professional das Problem lösen? (Wahrscheinlich ja :-)
